Summary:

SRM Concrete is hiring for a Shop Technician to assist mechanics in the our shop. We have a fleet of trucks and perform all of our own maintenance and repairs. No experience is necessary, we are willing to train the right applicant. This job is Monday-Saturday, 6 days a week.

Our Requirements:

• No felony convictions within the past ten year
• Flexible schedule Monday- Saturday
• Ability to work overtime
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• CDL (a plus)
• No unexplained gaps in employment

Job Duties:

• Perform preventive maintenance on company vehicles
• Check tires and fluid levels; change oil, adjust fluid levels, repair tires, change belts, replace light bulbs and batteries; and check major components and systems and overall working condition of vehicles under general supervision
• Assist mechanic with repairs on large equipment. Cleans up work areas including shop and tools, fuels vehicles and equipment as needed
• Performs yard work
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
