SRM Concrete announced today the opening of a new ready-mix concrete facility in Hampton, Georgia, approximately 30 miles south of Atlanta. The Hampton plant represents SRM’s 46th location in the state of Georgia.

SRM Concrete has acquired Salt Lake City-based Ready Made Concrete. The acquisition includes two ready-mix concrete plants in West Valley City and Hurricane, Utah.

SRM Concrete announced the opening of a new harbor site in Port St. Joe, Florida on property adjacent to SRM’s existing ready-mix batch plant opened earlier this year.
Operated by Hollingshead Harbor, SRM Concrete’s marine transportation company, the site will receive bulk aggregate via barge from SRM’s quarry in Jackson, Alabama.
