SRM Concrete has acquired two ready-mix concrete plants from Murray Mix Concrete in Northwest Georgia.

SRM Concrete CEO, Jeff Hollingshead stated, “We’re thrilled to add these two locations to our North Georgia footprint, and we’re looking forward to growing that market with our new team members.”

The Calhoun and Dalton ready-mix plants fill a service gap between SRM’s current sites in Chattanooga and North Georgia, while also expanding SRM’s overall presence in Georgia to 45 locations.

Established in 1999 by Mike and Melissa Hollingshead in Smyrna, Tennessee, the family-owned company owns and operates an expansive network of ready-mix concrete plants, quarries, cement terminals, and other ancillary services across 19 states.
