SRM Concrete is pleased to announce the acquisition of Sorrell Construction Services, Inc. in Freeport, Texas, 50 miles south of Houston. Included in this acquisition are a ready-mix concrete plant, a sand operation, and a harbor site.

After meeting with the new team members, SRM Concrete CEO, Jeff Hollingshead stated, “We are thrilled to welcome our new team in Freeport to the SRM family. Not only did we gain great sites, but we also gained a great group of people, and we’re looking forward to better serving our customers in the fast-growing Houston market.”

This acquisition marks SRM’s seventh ready-mix site and third harbor in the Greater Houston region.
