SRM Concrete has acquired Rockport Ready Mix in Cleveland, Ohio. The company has operated a ready-mix batching plant in Cleveland since 1993.

SRM Concrete CEO, Jeff Hollingshead stated, “We are looking forward to integrating this new group of team members to our operation in Northeast Ohio. This location fills a service gap for us, allowing SRM to serve new customers and better supply our existing customers.”

SRM entered the Northeast Ohio market in 2023 with the acquisitions of Liberty Redi Mix in Akron and HGE Concrete Supply in Cleveland. SRM now operates over 30 ready-mix batching plants in Ohio.

With over 8,500 team members, SRM Concrete is the largest ready-mix concrete manufacturer in the country. Established in 1999 by Mike and Melissa Hollingshead in Smyrna, Tennessee, the family-owned company owns and operates an expansive network of ready-mix concrete plants, quarries, cement terminals, and other ancillary services across 22 states.
