At SRM Materials, our commitment to excellence extends not only to our products, but also to our team. We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our operations.

As a General Laborer at our quarry, you will be an essential part of our team, performing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of our plant. Your responsibilities will include plant maintenance, equipment operation, and the upkeep of our site's buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role requires a commitment to safety, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance of plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency.

- Operate a variety of heavy machinery and equipment in compliance with safety protocols.

- Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment, including the removal of debris, clearing pathways, and ensuring all areas are free from hazards.

- Assist with the maintenance of site buildings and grounds, including landscaping tasks and minor repairs.

- Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve any operational issues.

- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, contributing to a safe workplace for all employees.

- Perform other related duties and tasks as required.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a similar role or in a construction/manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment; training and certification may be provided.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

- Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.

- Excellent team player with strong communication skills.

- Commitment to safety standards and procedures.
