NASHVILLE, TN - December 10, 2021
SRM Concrete announced the promoted of Josh Maxwell to General Manager in Western Kentucky. Josh will oversee daily operations of six concrete plants in a fifty mile radius west of the Cumberland River. While Josh is new to being a GM, he is not unfamiliar with operations, management, or the Kentucky market. Josh started with SRM Concrete as a Mixer Operator in 2018. From there, he began leading the night shift in the Nashville market before moving to a position in recruiting where he managed hiring in Middle Tennessee and Southern and Western Kentucky.
CEO, Jeff Hollingshead, stated, "We are excited to promote Josh Maxwell to GM of our Western Kentucky area. Josh has served in many different roles during his time with our company and has thrived in each of them. We are confident he will do the same in this important role.”
SRM Concrete is the largest privately-owned ready-mix concrete manufacturer in the country. Founded in 1999 by Mike and Melissa Hollingshead in Smyrna, Tennessee, the family-owned company owns and operates a network of ready-mix concrete plants. SRM Concrete is focused on producing and delivering ready-mix concrete and providing ancillary services across the commercial and residential construction segments.
SRM Concrete has pursued an active acquisition strategy, having successfully acquired and integrated over sixty companies since 2005. SRM currently has over four thousand employees with locations that span across thirteen states.
